As I reflect on the Lord’s rich blessings on this ministry over the past twelve years I am overwhelmed at His goodness. We have just completed a glorious week of meetings with Jackie at First Baptist Church in Dandridge, TN. We had a full house Sunday morning for both services, as well as a packed house for each evening service. I was overjoyed by the response of our people. Jackie’s warm style of presenting the truth of God’s Word in a clear and concise fashion mixed with his infectious joy, deeply moved young and old alike. This was not a surprise to me, as this was the third time I have had Jackie speak in my pulpit. I first invited Jackie to preach at Broadway Baptist Church ten years ago. The response was so good that we had him back a few years later. Back in December of 2007 I accepted the call to a new place of service in Dandridge, Tennessee. As I prayed about whom to call to lead our Fall Revival in my new church, I obviously wanted someone who I could trust and who had a proven track record. I immediately emailed Jackie to see if he was available. The result was our third meeting which will no doubt lead to a fourth at some point in the future. It was important for this revival week to go well. As you would understand, coming to a new place of service magnifies the importance setting the agenda in the right direction. Our time with Jackie did just that. Many of my members expressed gratitude to me for bringing Jackie our way. It had been a couple of years since we had a revival meeting. The church had experienced some tough times. Attendance and morale were down. But, God used Bro. New Prospect Baptist Church, Haleyville AL.,

I have known Bro. Jackie and his family since
1983 when he became my pastor. I was only a teenager then, but learned so
much from Bro. Jackie by watching his life and listening to his sermons.
Bro. Jackie truly has a pastor's heart and he deals with people in a loving
way. I was honored to have him come to the church I now pastor in South
Mississippi. He blessed us by being faithful to God. One of the things that helped me as a single staff minister was how Bro. Jackie sent me preparation material for the revival. When Dr. Jackie Jay came to lead our church in
revival three years ago, I had not met him personally. In that week together
in 2003, the Lord blessed our church with true revival, I was encouraged as
a pastor, and Bro. Jackie became a precious friend in the Lord. He preached
God's Word faithfully, accurately and encouragingly. I could hardly wait to
contact him, and ask him to be with us in revival again this year. I prayed
that we would have as good of a time in the Lord this year, as we had

I have the unique privilege of knowing Jackie
Kay in two ways. First, I served on his staff at Bartlett Baptist Church.
And now, I have had him in my church as an evangelist. Two words that best
describe Jackie are integrity and encouragement. During our revival at Third
Baptist, never once did Jackie manipulate or coerce our people. He preached
the Word of God with passion and left the results to God. He was the same
from the pulpit as he was after the services with our people and staff.
Jackie is indeed a man of integrity. But, he is also an encourager. I had
Jackie come and speak to our staff. What a great encouragement he was to us!
His wisdom accumulated from his walk with the Lord and years of service is
so very evident. Our people were encouraged to love our Lord Jesus more, to
serve the church more, to desire holiness more, and to share the gospel
more. I believe that God used Jackie to "light a fire" within our people

Numerous years had passed since I had led a
church in a traditional revival effort. However, when the leadership of the
Georgia Baptist Convention asked the 3,500 churches of the GBC to
participate in a series of "Wave Revivals," the Spirit prompted me to get
Calvary involved. As I sought the Lord's guidance about His choice for an
evangelist to lead us, Jackie Kay kept coming to mind. In fact, I could not
get him out of my mind. I had known Jackie since my days as a Minister of
Music and Youth in Alabama where he served an area church as pastor. He was
highly respected as a preacher and as a man with a heart for the kingdom,
and he remains so today. I cannot tell you how wonderfully pleased I was with Jackie's leadership during our Times of Refreshing, as we called them this past Spring. Some evangelists put on a performance, but Jackie brought us a powerful, challenging word from God. Some evangelists, without knowing a church or its people, devise a schedule of preaching and those sermons get preached regardless. Jackie sincerely seeks each day the face of God as he prepares to minister to a congregation. He has a keen sense of a revival's flow and what God is trying to accomplish, and that is critical to the success of a revival. Some evangelists have no idea what it means to be a pastor, but Jackie has been there, and he knows the rigors and pressures of leading a church. Even more, Jackie has faced the fire both professionally and personally, and the lessons he has learned through pain come pouring out of the depths of his soul and help bring healing to the folks who hear. With Jackie Kay, a pastor doesn't have to worry that the evangelist will leave a mess behind. What a joy it was to have Jackie back at First
Baptist for a second time. God used him to encourage our souls and exalt

had been many years since our church had experienced revival; thankfully
that has changed. God used Jackie Kay in a marvelous way to bring revival to
our church. Jackie is an
excellent communicator to people of all ages; our people responded to
his messages in ways I have never seen.

What a wonderful joy it is to recommend
Dr. Jackie Kay to any church in need of heaven sent revival. I have had
the personal privilege of having Jackie in three revivals and also
supply on one occasion. Two revivals and the supply were during my
previous pastorate. As I entered my current pastorate I sought the Lord
as to which evangelist He would have come for one of our first year's
revivals together. The Holy Spirit lead me very clearly to invite
Jackie. He is sound doctrinally, sensitive spiritually, witty
personally, and powerful in the pulpit. Upon completion of our meetings
together, my congregation has always asked, "When are you going to
invite Bro. Jackie back?" We’ve had three wonderful revivals together.

in 2006. He has the highest ethics possible and God has built a deep

We just had a wonderful week of revival with Jackie Kay here at First Baptist Huntingdon. The Holy Spirit showed up as we worshiped and praised our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We were seeking a time of renewal in our church and the Lord used Jackie in a mighty way to do just that. Jackie blessed our hearts with his humor, a cheerful heart does do good like a medicine. And his timely messages inspired us and urged us on to be more for God that we had been before. We were truly revived as a people of God.
