TOP TEN MINISTRY DISTINCTIVES
Looking Up Ministries is marked by ten distinctives in its ministry to pastors and churches.
1. This is both a ministry of evangelism and encouragement
committed to sharing the "Good News" of the Hope, Help, and Healing which is in Jesus Christ. Even when preaching against sin, there is the encouragement of forgiveness and restoration in Christ.2. Thirty-eight years (38) of ministry experience, twenty-five (25) as a pastor and thirteen (13) as an evangelist, have equipped us for ministry in churches.
Although I am an evangelist, I will always have a pastor’s heart.
3. This is a ministry that is committed to "no surprises" and "no regrets". It is my sincere desire that the pastor be pleased, the people be blessed, and the Lord be honored in our time together.
4. Integrity will characterize all that we are and do. I will love your people, treat them with respect, and will endeavor to be Christlike in every area of my ministry.
5. I believe that God honors the simple, clear, compassionate preaching of the Word, not gimmicks, manipulation, or antics.
6. Our goals are to leave a church with a greater love for their pastor, for souls, for the work of the Kingdom, for each other, and most of all, for the Lord Jesus, than before we arrived.
7. I believe that an evangelist should come in as a spiritual physician to help diagnose the health of a congregation and to provide spiritual remedies from God’s Word for renewed vision, health, and vitality.
8. As an evangelist, I always come as a friend, encourager, confidant, and servant of the pastor.
9. This ministry is not exclusive, it is inclusive, i.e., I am in churches of all sizes. I have been in churches from 2,500 to 50 in attendance.
10. I believe that an evangelist should be a servant, not a showboat; a minister, not a manipulator; a feeder of the sheep, not a "skinner" of the sheep; and an example, not an embarrassment.
Invitations: All invitations are prayerfully considered regardless of the size of the church.
Finances: There are no set fees or guarantees. “Looking Up” Ministries, Inc. requests that expenses be provided for from the church’s budget and that a love offering be received. I will never mention the love offering to your people.
Goals:

-Not solicit support from your people after the meeting is over.
-Be sensitive to the needs of you and your people.
-Not promote products or use personal promotion.
-Come with a ministry of integrity, compassion, and a pastor’s heart.
